Homecoming plans

Homecoming at Marion Central School will be held on October 3 and 4.

On October 3 there will be a morning assembly to recognize the Senior Athletes and to announce the Homecoming King, Queen, and court.

The afternoon and evening will be filled with various athletic contests.

One of the highights of the evening will be Varsity Soccer action. The girls' game at 6 o'clock and the boys' game at 8 p.m. will both be against Pal-Mac, which will provide Wayne County Soccer at its finest.

Between games, the Homecoming court will be introduced and recognized. After the games, the First Annual Alumni/Student Homecoming Bonfire will take place between the tennis courts and parking lot. So bring a lawn chair and plan to stay and catch up on news with former classmates.

The publications club will be sponsoring a Chicken Bar-B-Q on Friday and the Varsity Club Food Booth will be open for hot dogs, pop and candy.

On Saturday the annual alumni soccer games will be held. To participate or for information about the alumni games contact Mr. Christie at the high school 315-926-4228 or Mr. Tllliing at the elementary school 315-926-4256.

The Student Council, Varsity Club and high school administration hope that eveyone will take part in this year's festivities.
