Betsy Morris, a Friend of the Library, turned 50 recently, and a party was held in her honor. Guests were asked to bring 50 coins in any denomination for the Marion Library fundraising campaign.

After the festivities were over, the money was counted and the library benefited to the tune of $700. Everyone at the library sends a great big thank-you to Betsy Morris and her friends.

Don't forget to buy your tickets to the dinner and dance to be held October 11, at the former Grange and future Library. Tickets are on sale now at the library.

Ticket prices are: Family - Dinner/Dance - $40, Individual - Dinner/Dance - $25, Family - Dance Only $15, Individual - Dance Only $6,Family - Dinner only - $25, Individual - Dinner only $6.

Bring the family to an evening of food and fellowship.

There are still a few openings left for the Fall storytime at the library. If your child is three years old by December 1 call the library for information about these programs.
