Student Salutes

Michelle Wilson is a very hard-working student who gives of her time and talents. She is aware of and willing to help out with the little things that make a big difference.

Michelle is a member of Junior Choir, Junior Band, Earth Shuttle and the Soccer team. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends as well as her young niece, Briana. Michelle is the daughter of Paul and Patricia Wilson and has two older brothers, Brian and Danny.

Mike Bond is the other Student of the Week. He has been selected as an Eighth Grade Student of the Week. Mike is a responsible and mature young man who displays a sense of pride and dignity. "Mike is someone I feel I can always count on because he is consistently a respectful, responsible, and pleasant person, both in the classroom and in the hallway," said Mrs. DeVoogt, his English teacher. Mike is a kind person who is willing to help others.

Mike is one of the six children of James and Laura Bond. Mike has perhaps learned to be responsible because he helps take care of his younger brothers and sister. He also is responsible for
helping with the four horses his family has. Mike bought one, Jasmine, with his own money. Along with riding his horse, Mike enjoys reading and the sport of wrestling. Mike is proud to have made the Merit Roll this year.
