Lyons snowboarder
competes

Meaghan Partelow, a senior and honor student at Lyons High School, is competing in Telluride, CO at the USA Snowboard Association Nationals.

A snowboard instructor at Brantling Ski Slopes, she went undefeated in the Western New York USASA Series to take High Point and a ride to the Nationals. Placing first in all eight competitons, she successfully qualified for slope style (jumps), half pipe and boardercross. In Colorado, she will be competing against other women from 30 other regions from all across America.

Competition winds up this weekend.
