Lyons library celebrates

The Lyons Public Library will be celebrating National Library Week, April 19-25 with a series of special events.

On Monday, April 20 from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., there will be a Kite Making Workshop with Dave Watson for children ages 10 and older. Registration is required and limited to 15.

The library monthly Board of Trustees meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m. Bruce King, the library's architect, will be there to discuss revised floor plans for the new library,

A Pajama Storytime will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. for the whole family. Everyone is encouraged to come wearing pajamas.

On Thursday, April 23 from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m., an Introduction to the Internet Class will be held.

A Jigsaw Puzzle Swap will be held on Saturday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to noon. Bring in a puzzle or two and trade them for different ones.

All programs are free and open to the public. To register for the Kite Making Workshop call the library at 946-9262 by noon on Monday, April 20.
