At the recent Career Day at the Newark Middle School. Jim Miranda, sports writer for the Courier-Gazette, was one of the presenters. (He also took these photographs.) Career areas that were represented were law enforcement, health care, computers,
machining, plumbing, electrician, construction, cosmetology, arts, science, sales,
business, military, sports and education, human services. There were more than 50 people
who spoke to the students.
