Earth Day at Lyons church

The First Presbyterian Church of Lyons will celebrate Earth Day, this Sunday, April 19 during the 10 a.m. worship service.

After the service, there will be activities and games for children around issues of ecology and taking care of the Earth. The activities are being organized by the Christian Education Committee.

Earlier in the morning, the men of the church will gather for a Pancake Breakfast, cooked by Jon Hummel. Tom Lambdin will lead the group in a discussion on Men & Faith. For additional information or to RSVP for the breakfast, call the church at 946-4723.

The church is located at 11 Queen St., Lyons and is handicapped accessible.
