 Newark track notes
The Newark girls 4x1600 team of Colleen McCusker (pictured), Jennifer Stevens,
Amanda Leuwen and Jessica Sieleuwa were first. Other first place finishes went to the
3x4OO relay team of Jill Starkenburg, Laura Bastian and Nikki Parker. The shot put relay
team of April Allen, Keya Collins, and Christian Fulkerson were first. The discus relay
team April Allen, Keya Collins and Kelly Leeuwen, The Triple jump relay group of
Starkenburg, Laura Bastian and Nikki Parker. The long jump relay group of Kara and Renee
Williams and Lois The boys group also fared well at the relays. The sprint relay team of James Castillo, Corey Stirpe (pictured), Brendan Morrissey and Bill Barcomb placed first. The same group also won the 4x4OO relay event. The shot put team of Joe Monahan, Paul Garland, Jason Collins placed first with the same group winning the discus event. Field Tundra Relays held Saturday at Canandaigua.
