Sodus Primary news After many months of construction, Sodus Primary school has a brand new larger library. After much planning and moving of the children's classrooms, the new library is more roomy then the original one. In fact, the new library takes the space of three extra classrooms. Soon, Becky Olsen can begin moving the books from the cafeteria to their new permanent home. In peeking through the windows, the library is beautiful and everyone is excited about using it. The children have already had the opportunity of having story-time on the new carpet. In early April, the first set of fifth graders went on the overnight field trip to Cooperstown. The trip included a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame, the Clark Center for some swimming and activities, Howe Caverns and the Iroquois Museum. This group included the classes of half of Mrs. Smith's group, Ms. Steffler and Mr. Stone. The second group left earlier this week. Copyright © 1998 |
