Williamson Library news The Williamson Public Library will be having a Book sale sponsored by the Friends of the Library, on Thursday, May 7 from 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Friday, May 8 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The sale will be held on the lower level of the library, 4170 East Main St., Williamson, 589-2048. Saturday, May 9 is bargain day - a bag of books will cost only $1. Donations are gladly accepted during library hours: Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-8:30 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 - Chet Peters, the Town Historian will return to the library with his usual entertaining and informative historical program. Wednesday, June 17 - Ruth Dewitte, a local resident will present a program on her travels to England. Cheryl Gravelle, the library's Children's Specialist will also share pictures and adventures of her recent travel to England with her son's Boy Scout Troop. The programs will be held from noon to 1 p.m. in the program room on the lower level of the library. Lunches are served, but you must register for them. Call 589-2048 to register by Monday night.
