Sodus Library news

The Sodus Free Library on Maple Ave. has many new additions. They have a new librarian, Carol Garland, and, thanks to a grant from the Brownstone Book Fund, they also have 100 new children's books as well.

On one of those rainy weekends, why not go to the library and get a few books to take home? It's fun to snuggle up with the kids and read together. A nice sunny afternoon during the week is a good time to take a family walk to the library. No matter what time of year, or the weather, any time is a good time for a book.

The Sodus Free Library open Mondays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1; Tues., Wed., & Thurs., from noon to 8; Fri., noon to 5; and Sundays, 2-4 p.m.
