Woodlands in bloom

Thank goodness Mark DeCracker takes his camera along with him when he rides his mountain bike!

Yesterday, he found this rare double, green and white trillium. He compared it to finding a needle in a haystack. "As far as I'm concerned, I won the lottery today," said DeCracker.

He later came upon this valley of marsh marigolds that seemed to go on forever. "Who ever said swamps were ugly?" asked DeCracker.

Mark encourages all of you to hike, bike and walk Wayne County woodlands to find these and other pleasures (and treasures).
