Fair entries

The Wayne County Fair books are ready and have been mailed to all 4-H and Open Class exhibitors who exhibited in the 1997 Wayne County Fair. Extra copies can be obtained by calling Nancy Howrath at 597-0231, Colleen Flye at 986-1239 or Gerry Blankenberg at 926-4926.

One exhibitor per entry blank. Entry forms should be as complete as possible to facilitate your entries. Entries will be accepted until Saturday, August 1st by mail.

Beginning August 8, the Fair Secretary will be at the Fair Grounds on Jackson Street in Palmyra to accept entries at the Secretary-Treasurer's office. Entries will be processed on a first come, first serve basis EXCEPT Monday, August 10, which will be done on a priority basis according to each department's closing time.

Demolition Derby entry forms can be obtained from Pal-Mart, Main Street, Palmyra, or J & F Bells Body Shop, Jeffery Road, Palmyra, co-sponsors of the event, Wayne County Fair Grounds or by calling Nancy Howrath at 597-0231 or Colleen Flye at 986-1239. The derby entry form includes the rules. The demolition derby will be a grandstand attraction Monday, Thursday, and Saturday nights August 10, 13, 15.
