Glen at Woodhill construction starts

Construction has started on the Woodhill expansion project in Newark. The J. A. Gaudino Company has planned 56 luxury two-bedroom apartments called "The Glen at Woodhill." The project is located off 840 Peirson Ave. at the existing Woodhill Apartments and Townhouse site.

The Glen will consist of seven two-story, garden-style apartment buildings with eight apartments in each building. Three buildings are currently under construction and due to be completed in several months. The remaining four buildings will be completed in the spring of 1999.

The 1000-plus square foot apartments will feature central air, security entrances, vaulted ceilings and private covered balconies. Additionally, the 34-acre wooded site has a swimming pool, playground and basketball court.
