Police investigate
United Church fire

Marion and Walworth Fire Departments were called to the Marion United Church Sunday afternoon.

Sometime after 4 p.m., a fire started in the two-story portion of the building. The fire caused thousands of dollars in damage. The church is located at 3848 North Main St.

State Police arson investigators are conducting an investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the State Police at 986-4208 or 589-2355.
