Bill and Barb DeWandel, along with Gene and Marilyn Mullin, went to Boonville on Saturday to the 51st Woodsmen's Days. They saw the parade and enjoyed watching the women's competition in all types of logging events.

Julie Wise presented the Ministry of Music at the Sunday service at Second Reformed Church.

Does anyone know where the video of Dutch Traditions is? It was taped in Holland, Michigan.

Brian and Jill Adriaansen spent the weekend on Skaneateles Lake at the cottage of Jill's aunt and uncle, Phil and Diane Tennant.

AUGUST 27, 1936: The Marion Concert Band will soon take its 7th annual tour, this year, to Cleveland and the Great Lakes Exposition.

A roast beef supper is planned for September 11 at the American Legion Home on Witherden Road.

The Rev. Bill Hoffman is feeling much better.

Clara Schultz is recuperating at her home following treatment.

Kate Buyck is recuperating at Blossom View Nursing Home.

Someone called to remind us to clean up our streets and sidewalks before our Marion Festival.

Last week, Ed DeWandel was up from Virginia to attend his Newark High School 50th Class Reunion. He spent some time with his brother Bill and family.

Joan and Stuart Bornstein and family visited their parents, Vern and Mil Leenhouts, this summer.
