September 14 golf event in Newark

The Wayne County Business Council, together with the Newark Chamber of Commerce and the Country Club, invite all golfers and would be golfers to their annual tournament. The event will take place Monday, September 14, at Newark Country Club.

Registration will begin at noon with a picnic lunch and a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The fee per foursome is $235 or $65 for single entrants. Singles will be teamed into foursomes.

The fee includes the picnic lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart, on course refreshments and hors d'oeuvres and prizes following the tournament. A cash bar will also be available from 6-7 p.m.
