Newark Turkey Day Road Race

More than 140 people ran in the Newark Turkey Day Road Race held on Thanksgiving Day.

Jim Miller of Vermont was the overall winner of the race with a time of 26:59. The female winner was Newark resident Colleen McCusker (32:44).

MEN:

14 and under boys: Taylor Delhaven, Chris VanKirk, Mel Levinson; ages 15-18: Mark Hussy, Karl Lakhaup, Nathan Merrill; 19-29: Tom Stuart, Timothy Denniston, Chris Stager; 30-34: Dave Bruinix, Tom Cowen, Ed Sullivan.

35-39: David Wiemann, Ken Switnicki, Welsey DeNering; 40-44: John Lascini, Mark Reissig, John Robson, Bob Hamilton; 44-49: Mike Feligno, Duke Mitchell, Brian Short; 50-59: John Hackney, Tom Dutton, Dave Sek; 60-69: John Doody, Dick Jarrett, Bill Steanley, Cal Barcomb.

WOMEN:

14 and under girls: Serena Loder, Christine Seppeler; 15-18: Jenn Stevens, Rebecca Lewis, Serena Loder; 19-29: Stacy Goodspeed, Sarah Hallagan, Sharon Rogers; 30-39: Patti Alberti, Debbie McDonald, Inka Riktor.

40-49: Becky Kraai, Susie West, Darlene Mardela.

50-59: Helen Addona, Susan Robinetti, Nedra Osborne; Over age 60: Dawn Wilcox.
