4th grade History Contest winners Andrea Evangelist, Executive Director of the Wayne County Historical Society, has announced the winners of the History Game Contest. The contest was open to all fourth grade students in Wayne County and had three categories focusing on Wayne County History. Winners receive a Wayne County Board Game and a pizza party for their classroom. First place winning crossword puzzle was made by Mrs. Busch's students at Macedon Elementary School; Sue Yonda's class at Clyde Elementary School won for their word search or word jumble entry, and first prize for a history quiz will go to Susan Stock's class at Kelley School in Newark. Receiving honorable mention and winning a Wayne County Board Game for a word search entry is Mrs. Ego's students at Kelley School in Newark. The submissions were judged on originality, accuracy, and creativity. Winning entries will be photocopied and made available to visitors at the Museum.
