In the midst of the annual holiday sale, on December 12,
Wayne County Council for the Arts will present Dan Duggan, in an afternoon of seasonal
dulcimer music. Starting at 2 p.m., Duggan will be performing in the gallery located at 2
Broad Street in Lyons. The informal gallery concert is being coordinated with the Arts
Council's 1998 Holiday Show & Sale. This fund-raising event comprised of original arts
and crafts from more than 50 area artists. From drawings, paintings, and photographs to
original books and CD's to ceramics, Ukrainian Easter eggs, and jewelry, there is
something for everyone at
the Arts Council.
Running concurrently with the holiday sale is Christmas in Wayne County, an
exhibit of seasonal photographs shot last Christmas featuring the work of Wolfgang Linz,
Nigel Kent, Kevin Schoonover, Robert Henry, Walter Chase, David Chapin.
Gallery hours are Monday
through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
In addition to helping local and regional artists, a portion of all sales goes to
support Wayne County Council for the Arts, continuing their services and fine arts
programs and exhibits for Wayne County audiences. For more information about this
