Harold and Dorothy Ocque have just returned from a wonderful trip stopping at Colonial Williamsburg and touring Mt. Vernon. They enjoyed seeing other points of interest in the same vicinity, having a good time.

Roy and Shirley Tack have returned home from a winter vacation to New York City. They were privileged to see the shows: The Lion King, Ragtime and The Christmas Show at Rockefeller Center with the well-known Rockettes. They got to the top of the Empire State Building. A wonderful experience!

Don and Mary Spittal spent a long weekend with their son Tom and Martha Spittal in New Jersey. The grandchildren were around including Joel who was home from Germany where he is spending the school year. Don and Mary enjoyed the trip and being with their family.

The beautiful Christmas wreaths hanging on the front and side door of the United Church were designed and decorated by Linda Schutt and hung by her dad, Lloyd VanHaneghem. The holly used for decorating has been cut from the bushes grown by the Levans. The Franke family has generously donated the beautiful Christmas tree and wreath gracing the sanctuary.

Stuart and Joan Bornstein and family (Tappan, NY) spent time with her parents, Vern and Mil Leenhouts, at their Union Street home.

Many thanks go to Esther Walker, from the Second Reformed Church members, for donation of two Christmas trees for the sanctuary.

Christmas card contributors to World Vision, at the Second Reformed Church, gave cards to Karissa DePoint and Jessica Cambier.

JANUARY 6, 1912 - The merchants of this town haved decided to close their stores every evening except Saturday until April 1.

The Palmyra Senior Citizens trip on March 8-10 to the Philadelphia Flower Show has openings. It includes a guided tour of the city, a play "Broadway Rhythm" and dinner at Lily Langtree's, a tour of Valley Forge National Historic Park and more. Call Virginia Lupold at 597-4372. A must if you enjoy flowers!

Budd and Ruth Haskins opened their home to family on Christmas Eve for a time of dinner and the sharing of gifts.

Joyce Cantwell's family spent Christmas Day with her enjoying a delicious dinner and the exchanging of gifts.

There was an 11 o'clock Committal Service at the Marion Cemetery for Dr. Virginia Radley on Wednesday, December 23.

Frank and Betty Baker of Horseheads arrived in Marion at the home of their daughter, Paul and Jody Bender and family, for a delightful dinner and gift giving.

June Young of Union Street is a patient at the Strong Memorial Hospital following an automobile accident.

Nancy DeFisher is up from her home in Florida to spend the holidays with her family in the area.

Roger and Sheila Larwood are in the Marion area for the holidays, spending time with their mother, Myrna Quigley, of Sunset Drive.

"To get your kid's attention, sit down and look comfortable."

Marvin and Loretta DeFisher of East Williamson Rd. had a grand time with their family around for Christmas Day, all enjoying an array of tasty foods and snacks.

Mary Ann Anderson of Columbia, MD, spent the holiday with her daughter and family, Alan and Mary DeFisher and family.

Johanna Williams is home from the hospital.

Karol Baker has returned to her Dean Rd. home after a long time in the hospital.

Pastor Dan and Bev Meyer of the United Church welcomed son Phillip and daughter Kristen for the Christmas holidays. This is the first time in two years that all of them have been able to spend this wonderful time together.
