Scholarships for Sodus grads

The generosity of Ruth G. Mills, long-time Sodus resident, enables the Sodus Central School Scholarship Fund, Inc. to offer scholarship awards for continuing education. These awards will be presented to qualified grads who are currently freshmen, sophomores or juniors in college. To be eligible, students must:

* be graduates of Sodus Central School

* be enrolled in a 4-year-college as a full-time student

* have a 3.0 minimum cumulative grade point average as of February 1

The amount of the award and the recipients will be determined by the Sodus Central School Scholarship Fund, Inc. The applications will be available in the Sodus High School Guidance Office as of February 1.

Application deadline is April 15. Eligibility for this award is for undergraduate students only. A student may be eligible for up to three annual awards within six years of graduation from Sodus Central School.
