St. Michael's Oratorical contest

An oratorical contest was held at St. Michael School for 7th and 8th graders on Feb. 11.

Pictured are teacher/advisor Jill DeCook, third-pace winner Cassie Denniston, first-place winner Bethany Klipp and second-place winner Sarah McCue.

Each girl won $25, and all 21 contest participants received movie passes to Showplace 5 movie theater.

The judges were Eileen Healy, John Tickner, Carolyn Anderson, Sandra Marcano and Mary Henderberg.

The contestants were Matthew Bouwens, Jessica DeCracker, Sarah Edmonds, Kerri Sargent, Cassie Denniston, Anthony Bogan, Bethany Klipp, Angela Green, Holly Gorall, Lynn Lash, Michael Bouwens, Brittany Burgess, Emily Barrett, Krystal Rapp, Jessica Diamond, Andrea DiNieri, John List, Melissa Arena, Lacie Urban, Sarah McCue and Meghan Werner.
