Pasta dinner in Lyons

The Lyons Class of 2000 is holding a pasta dinner on March 13 and 14. The dinner coincides with the Friday and Saturday night performances of Oklahoma, the Lyons High School musical production. Dinner will be served from 4:30-7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.

Dinner consists of pasta with your choice of sauce, salad, bread and beverage and will be served by the ranchhands of the Class of 2000. Appropriately dressed in flannel shirts and jeans, they will greet you with a smile and a friendly "Howdy!" as they take your order.

This year's sauce choices include the traditional (tomato, with or without meatballs), white clam or a vegetarian sauce (eggplant, zucchini and tomato). Desserts will be available for a small additional charge. The annual Silent Auction will also be held, where you may bid on donated items.

Tickets for dinner are $6 (children under 5 free). Tickets are available from members of the Class of 2000, at Andy's Online Cafe, at the door, or by calling 946-3367 or 946-6776.
