Robert Burns party in Wolcott

Seaway Studios Art & Cultural Center cordially invites the public to a Robert Burns Birthday Party on Sunday, February 1 at 2 p.m. at the Wolcott Presbyterian Church on West Main Street. It will be a celebration of Scottish music, poetry and culture.

This event will feature Roderick Albrecht playing the bagpipes; Scottish songs by Apples in Winter of Geneva; poetry from the works of Robert Burns - read by Scotty Martin.

After the performances, the bagpiper will lead a procession a short distance to the Seaway Studios where refreshments will be served and where a collection of Scottish items will be on display.

Robert Burns (1759-1796) is a Scottish national treasure for his contribution to literature and for his preservation of old Scottish songs and language.

The charge for advance sale tickets will be $4 adults, $2 children and $10 per family. For more information and directions: 587-4246.
