A flock of robins has been reported as being seen on Cory Corners Road, and a bunch of cardinals on Newark Road.

JANUARY 28, 1911: The bell has been placed in the Second Reformed Church and is the largest in town, weighing 800 pounds.

Gordon and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary, with brunch at Burnham's Canalside last Sunday. That afternoon our family held an open house with assorted soups and goodies, since it was Super Bowl Sunday. (Yes - our team won!)

The First Reformed Church is holding a special chicken and biscuit dinner, with homemade pies, on Feb. 2, 5-7 p.m. Adults are $6; seniors $5 and kids under 5 admitted free of charge.

Happy Birthday to Hilda De Lue on Jan. 27.

Jim DeVoogt has been a patient at Newark-Wayne Hospital and is now home.

A batting clinic for baseball and softball players will be held for grades 7-12, at the Marion Town Park. Call Paul Devlin at 926-7707.

Gertrude Collier is receiving rehabilitation following surgery at Strong Hospital. She is at 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester 14620.

Thanks to those who supported the ham dinner at the Second Reformed Church. The proceeds will be used for the youth winter camping trip.

Friends of Peg Pembroke send good wishes to her on the occasion of her Jan. 29 birthday.

Grace Franke is recuperating at her home after surgery.

Myrna Quigley is home after being in the Clifton Springs Hospital.
