Sodus Point walk on the pier
By Melissa White
The other night, we decided to take a
walk down the pier at Sodus Point. The Point was definitely the place to be.
There were many people talking a walk enjoying the cool night air. Some walked with
their dogs, others played on playground's swings and slide.
Many people sat patiently waiting for a big trout to be caught with specialty baits.
One young man fishing was excited about the large fish he could see swimming in the water beside the pier. Quickly, he would
cast his line...nothing. Just as quickly as the fish would move, the youngster pulled out
his line and cast it a little closer. I don't know if he had any luck, but the enthusiasm
was certainly there. (Devan, if you read this...did you get one of the big fish?!)
