Puppies visit Sodus students
By Melissa White

The last full day of school, the Sodus Primary had some adorable visitors. Alice Clark brought in puppies in boxher six-week-old German Shepard puppies for the students to cuddle and love.

Many classes came out to visit the puppies and the reaction was always the same. "They're so cute." "Can I hold one?"

There were enough puppies to go around. Alice and her family are keeping one of the pups and another, a special one wearing a pink collar, was going to be adopted.

At the beginning, the puppies were playful and bouncy. By the end of the visit, they were totally exhausted and could barely raise their tired heads. Every other student was going to take one home, everyone had a favorite. Many thought $1 was a good, affordable price they could pay, using their own allowances.

For those of you who can spare more than $1, watch for an ad soon in local papers. If you decide to buy one of Alice Clark's puppies, e-mail: mommygoodcookie@juno.com and we can keep everyone updated as to where the puppies are going.
