Ginny & Richard VanderBrook of Beam Hill were pleasantly surprised on Sunday, June 14 at the Marion Town Park to celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary which was June 21, 1998. The party was given by their daughters, Lynnette & Rodney Lake and family, Marcia & Kevin Winter and family, and son, Mark & Cheryl VanderBrook and family. Approximately 100 guests were present. They enjoyed cake and a variety of pie with ice cream, punch and coffee. Highlight of the occassion was a lovely framed picture of the VanderBrook family, numbering eighteen, all ten grandchildren and a recent picture of Rich, Ginny, Lynnette, Marcia and Mark.
