New home for
Joey's Northside

Joey's Northside grocery has become a north-end landmark in Newark. Located at the corner of W. Pearl and Route 88, it is a frequent stop for a soft drink, coffee and a morning paper, ice or a nice, big cigar.

But, over the past two weeks, we've been keeping an eye on the north side of town. The old tire place on the opposite corner has been reduced to rubble, and now, a new building rises from its ashes - a new home for Joey's Northside.

Best of luck to Joey Nicosia in his new location.
