Newark gardeners to meet in park

The local evening gardening club will meet Monday, July 20 at Elliot Park at 7 p.m. The Gone-A-Gardening Club has "adopted" the park, located on E. Union, Newark, as this season's project.

The plants were donated by Newark Florist, Freddie's Plantland, Parker Nursery and Dittmar Nursery.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the club, attend the Monday meeting. (In case of rain, the group will meet at the Arcadia Reformed Church on Wood Lane.)
