Raptors to open playoffs in Geneva

The Newark Raptors baseball club has announced their schedule for the upcoming Northeastern Collegiate Baseball League playoffs this weekend. The Raptors will finish with the best regular season record and therefore will have homefield advantage for the playoffs.

The Raptors will open the West Division Championship's best-of-three series at the second place Geneva Knights on July 24. The Raptors will host game two on Saturday, July 25 at
5 p.m. at Colburn Park. If a third game is necessary, it will be played as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, with game three immediately following game two.

The N.C.B.L. Championship will be held on Sunday, July 26. If the Raptors advance to the championship game, it will be played at Colburn Park at 7
p.m. Breen's IGA, located in Newark, Palmyra and Williamson, will be the sponsor for every playoff game played at Colburn Park.
