Come-Unity Center foodbox stats

Because of the high numbers of people we serve, some folks have often wondered if the Center is serving the same people month after month.

Frankly, it sometimes felt that way. But thanks to the fantastic new computer program developed for us by Wilmer Wright of Wilmer Wright Consultants in Rochester, we can now share with you the following information:

  • Between January 1, 1997 and March 31, 1998:
  • We served 7850 individuals with food boxes.
  • The individuals comprised 989 households and 2741 different people.
  • Each household consisted of an average of 2.7 people and each person was served an average of 2.8 times in a 15-month period.
  • Put another way, 58 percent of the households visited us only once; 12 percent visited twice; and only 10 percent visited nine or more times. The other 20 percent fell in the middle.

The Come-Unity Center address is P.O. Box 73, Williamson.
