Saturday, June 6 Special Events: 10 a.m. Parade with $250 Float Contests (call for entry qualifications) Birds of Prey Show Round & Square Dance 7-9 p.m. Sunday, June 7 Special Events: Canoeing 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Take a 1 mile canoe ride with State and Federal Officials through natural wildlife habitat or bring your canoe and paddle 4 miles to the Savannah/Howland's Island crossover. Maps available at canoe entrance on Route 89! Enter the 9 a.m. Crusoe Croc 10k and Otter 5k Runners race. Early sign-up gets you a Crusoe Croc Run T-Shirt. Savannah Rod & Gun Club sponsors Turkey Calling and Trap Shooting contests from 1-4 p.m. Crusoe Lake Nature Center presents Bird Watching and Plant Identification on a nature walk, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Or take an exclusive Bus tour of Savannah Evergreen Preserve.
