Williamson Library news
By Melissa White

Williamson Library has a special summer program planned. If you're a super sleuth or even if you're a beginner detective you'll enjoy this program.

On the date of recruitment - I mean, sign up - each child will receive a Detective's Kit and badge. Children will have the opportunity to earn "Detective Dollars" while searching for the answers and clues this summer.

The Recruitment Center - I mean, library - will be having the sign up of detectives on Monday June 29 during library hours. Anyone signing up to be a detective should bring along a picture of themselves for proper identification.

The library says that the Mona Woofa is missing from the famous Stone Chicken art gallery, just to mention one strange occurance. There are special programs and entertainment to accompany your detective cases.

On July 1 at 2 p.m. there will be a Mystery Party, Missing Planet Earth!. This program is for children 8-l2 years old and space is limited, so registration is required.

There will be Fitness Magic with Robin on Friday mornings from 10:30-11 on July 24-August 7. This program is for detectives aged 4-8.

And there's more on Wednesday mornings. There will be Mysteriously Yours story times from 10:30-11 from July 8 to August 12. If all these activities and being a good detective isn't enough, there will be Mysteries and Magic with Jim Bush on Thursday August 6 at 2 p.m.

There's a lot of fun and mysteries going on at the Williamson Library this summer. We hope to see you there...we will be (with our trench coats and notepads).
