Baha'is host discussions on racism

The public is invited to a series of Wayne County meetings to discuss the important issue of racism. It is the responsibility of each individual to work on eliminating this sickness by taking action in some positive way. Local members of the Baha'i Faith will show a 25-minute video called the Vision of Race Unity. This video shows some activities undertaken by Baha'is to address the issue of racism. After the video everyone is encouraged to discuss this most challenging issue.

The video will be shown at the Palmyra Village Club and Meeting Room on Main Street on Friday, June 26, starting at 7 p.m.

It will be shown at the Newark Public Library on Saturday, July 11, starting at 1 p.m.

It will be shown in Lyons on Wednesday August 5, at 7 p.m. at the public library.

Anyone interested in this most vital topic is invited to attend.
