Vacation Bible School in Sodus
By Melissa White

Vacation Bible School will begin soon and will be a little different then it has been in the past. Instead of daytime Vacation Bible School, there will be evening classes from 5:30-8:30 p.m., July l3-17.

This will be during dinner time so please remember to bring a "bag supper" and a snack; drinks will be provided.

Registration forms can be found at your Church, or you can call Kitty Kelly at 483-4259.

Parents are welcome to stay with their children during the classes. Vacation Bible School is sponsored by the Sodus Council of Churches and this year's theme will include Hawaiian fun. There will be music, crafts and lessons, along with other fun activities.

When you register your children write down the grade they will be entering. The classes will be held in the following Churches:

  • Kindergarten class will be at the St. John's Episcopal Church;
  • lst and 2nd grades will be at the Church of Epiphany;
  • 3rd and 4th grade will be at the Methodist Church;
  • 5th grade, Presbyterian Church.

Bring your dinner/snack bag and your imaginations. Be ready to learn and have a lot of fun. There is no cost for Vacation Bible School.
