Marion Library Notes Thanks to a grant from the John Ben Snow Foundation, the Marion Public Library has received a public access computer which will be used for Internet access for library patrons. This new service will begin the week of March 9. In order to take advantage of this service, users will be asked to read the Internet Policy developed by the library manager and sign a user's agreement. Users are asked to reserve time in advance. Walk-ins will be welcome, if the time is not previously reserved. Questions can be answered by the library staff in person or by calling 926-4933. Music Man Window While you're stopping by the library to pick up information on the Internet, make sure you spend a minute looking at the window. The feature is the Marion High School Music Department's Music Man. Friend's Fund-raising Baskets The winner of the Friends of the Library winter basket was Bonnie Wolfanger. The Snow-man basket was made and donated by Laura Tierson. Donations on an Easter basket will be sold during March. top of page Copyright © 1998 |
