Evangelist annnounces museum hours

Andrea Evangelist, Executive Director of the Wayne County Historical Society, has announced expanded museum hours for 1998.

From March 1 through December 12, the museum will be open to the public Tuesdays through Fridays from noon until 3:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The building will be closed on Mondays, national holidays, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, and the Friday following Thanksgiving.

In an effort to make the unique museum more accessible to the public, group or individual tours can also be scheduled by appointment on weekday mornings by calling (946-4943). The museum is located at 21 Butternut Street, Lyons.
