Gertrude Collier is staying at the home of her daughter in Macedon, Linda Newlander.

Basketball: On March 7 at the Rochester War Memorial, Marion lost the Class CC basketball final game. Number one Warsaw prevailed over #2 Marion, 68-65.

In Class DD hoops, #2 Jasper-Troupsburg defeated #4 Gananda in overtime, 64-62.

If you'd like to volunteer as a host at the Marion Museum, please attend a briefing on March 31 at 7 p.m.

A ham dinner is planned at the First Reformed Church on March 23.

John Decker has been a patient at the newark hosptial.

Come to the carnival on March 20, 6:30-9 p.m. at the high school Proceeds benefit the Senior Scholarship FUnd.

The Marion Supper Club will travel to the depot Restaurant in Shortsville . Call in your reservation to the Whites, 926-5719.

"Fiddler on the Roof" will be performed by Pal-Mac students, 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 20 and 21 at the high school. Tickets are $6 from any cast member. Free performance for senior citizens on Thursday, March 19 at 1 p.m.

Franciscan Mystery Players present: "The Way of the Cross," a highly dramatic presentation of the passion and death of Jesus Christ. See it at St. Mary's of the Lake, 5823 Walworth Road, Ontario, on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m.

Audry Ruth, daughter of Timothy John and Kathryn (Leenay) Mattle, became a Child of God through Baptism at St. Gregory's on February 28.

Hazel McMullin is recuperating at her home following cataract surgery.

The Eastern Star Ladies are presenting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marion Masonic Temple. Adults are $3.50, those under 12 years are $1.50 (Please notice this is the Sunday before Palm Sunday).

The Fancy Pants Boutique is celebrating their First Anniversary with 50% off all merchandise. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, March 14 there will be a viewing of Tupperware at the Boutique. Come and see the latest things and sign up for the free drawing. No purchase necessary. Opens at 1 p.m. Have the children sign up for a variety of free stuffed animals and gifts.
