DAR Good Citizens' Lunch The Colonel William Prescott Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution of Wayne County will host 40 guests at its chapter house at 119 High Street on March 18. The 1998 DAR Good Citizens are: Aaron Lemon of Clyde-Savannah; Kendra Weis, Gananda; Kadi Sholly, Lyons; Tara Schinsing, Marion; Jill Starkenburg, Newark; Marcy Sutherland, North Rose-Wolcott; Scott Hanford, Palmyra-Macedon; Erin Dixon, Red Creek; Leigh Tingue, Sodus; Sarah Porray, Wayne Central; and Ajaleah Abdunnasir, Williamson. Noon luncheon will be followed by an awards program honoring the eleven 1998 high school senior DAR Good Ctizens, their parents and a school representative. The Erie Canal is the theme to serve as an example of the historic, educational and patriotic purposes of the DAR. Jane De Cracker of Lyons, Chairman of the Good Citizen Project, will introduce the students and make awards of pins and certificates. Three winners of the monitored and timed essay contest held last October will be announced and presented monetary awards. The first-place entry became eligible for competition at the DAR district, state and national level.
