NHS All-County Band participants

Twenty-one students have been selected as Newark High School's representatives in the 1998 All-County High School Band.

Going to All-County are: Clarinetists Dan Green, Kristen Admiraal, Lindsay Wilkins, Johanna Krapichler, Lindsay Miller, Erin Hegeman, Miranda Clark; Kathleen Dorn, Kelly Leeuwen, playing flute; Jill Starkenburg, oboe; Stacy Prizzi, piccolo; Chris Rommel, bari-saxophone; French horn players Gretchen Snedeker and Luke Starkenburg; trumpet players Matt Klemann, Jenn Stevens, Daryl Elmore, Craig Benjamin, Tim DeRuyter, Andy Wildey; Brandon English and Adam Daniels on trombone; Jennifer Rowe, bass clarinet; Ben Williams and Ben Converse, tuba; Brian Franchi, percussion; Sarah Rynearson on timpani; Teresa Zappia and Rachel Scarpati, mallets.

This year's festival will be held at Lyons High School on March 20 and 21 with a concert beginning at 3 p.m. on the 21st. Andrew Boysen will be the conductor.
