Bluegrass in Wolcott

On Thursday, April 2 at 7:30 p.m., well-known traditional artist John Rossback will be performing at the Leavenworth Middle School on New Hartford Street in Wolcott.

Originally from the mountains of West Virginia, Rossback has toured the country both as a solo artist and as a member of the Chestnut Grove Bluegrass band. In addition to the mandolin (on which he is one of the best performers in the country), his instrumental skills range from riveting delta blues to driving banjo breakdowns.

Tickets will be $7 for individuals, $12 for families (up to 4) and $5 for senior citizens. This concert is sponsored by Seaway Studios - Arts & Cultural Center, a not-for-profit area arts group that offers many community programs and services. .
