Newark Chamber award deadline

Students from the Newark/Arcadia area are advised that the Greater Newark Chamber of Commerce has set the deadline for accepting applications for the Chuck Craig Future Civic/Business Leader Award.

Graduating seniors may inquire of their guidance counselors, or the Newark Chamber office (203 West Miller St., Newark) for applications. Any senior who has an interest in the business community of Newark and a wish to be involved in the civic responsibilities connected with business, is encouraged to apply.

Student must be a resident of the Newark/Arcadia school district but may attend a school outside of that district.

Applications must be postmarked by Wednesday, May 20, or hand-delivered to the Chamber office. Additional forms are also available there. For more information, contact Dolores Castelli 331-2705 or 716-388-3883.
