Sodus Brownie troopSodus Brownie
Troop 435

By Melissa White

Eileen Hooper's Brownie Troop 435 had their last official meeting May 5. The girls made a poster welcoming the Girl Scouts who will be visiting from other states during the summer. The girls squealed as they put their hand in either the green or yellow paint and put their prints on the big posterboard.

The Brownies also wrote letters to three of the girls who will be coming, telling them about our area and things we in Wayne County have to show them. The girls were from California, Maine and Kansas, the Brownies are very anxious to hear a reply from them.

Sodus Brownie troopThe girls have had so much fun this year they don't want the fun to stop. The Brownies have decided to continue their fun all summer - plans for sleepover parties, camping out in the backyard, picnics and bike hikes are just a few things they came up with. It looks to be a fun summer for them.

The girls who made the decision to continue during the summer are:

Susan Hooper, Rachel White, Julie Dickinson, Ashley Miller, Kirsten McGarr and Amanda Gagon.
