In Newark Youth baseball action on May 4 it was the Expos over the Dodgers 8-3 and the Orioles over the Marlins 7-6. On May 6 the White Sox over the Phillies 16-0 and the White Sox came back on May 8 to defeat the Marlins 19-11. On May 9 it was the Orioles over the Reds 8-3 Yankees over the Dodgers 11-2 and the Expos over the Phillies 19-1.

Standings: White Sox 3-0, Yankees 2-0, Expos 2-1, Orioles 2-1, Reds 1-1, Marlins 1-2, Dodgers 0-3, Phillies 0-3.
