Apple Blossom dessert contest

On Sunday, May 17, the Second Annual Dessert Contest and Auction will be held during the Williamson Apple Blossom Festival. Judging will be from l0 a.m. to noon. The Auction will take place from noon to 1:30.

All recipes must be made from scratch using apples and entrants must be at least 18 years old.

Categories include: Pies and Dumplings, Breads and Muffins, and Cakes.

There will be ribbons and cash prizes for three winners in each category. First place will receive $ 25, 2nd place is 15, and those who place third will receive 10. The Gand prize is a $50 dinner for two (a special prize for the best pie).
