Lyons library needs garage sale items

The Lyons Public Library is looking for good, used items such as children's clothing, pots, pans, dishes, paperback books, and collectibles to be donated to the library to be sold at the Gristmill Garage Sale on Saturday, June 6. Adult clothing and furniture will not be accepted.

The library will sell the donated items as a fundraiser for its future home in the Erie Canal Cultural Center, All items must be brought to the library by June 3 so they can be sorted and priced. The library is also looking for volunteers to work the day of the sale (June 6). Volunteers are needed for set up and to staff the sale for a couple for hours at a time.

If you can donate used items or volunteer some time, call the library at 946-9262 and ask for Theresa Streb.
