Farmers market in Newark

The Newark Farmers Market is opening for the season Thursday, May 28 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office on Rt. 88.

On sale will be Wayne County grown fruits and vegetables, baked goods, and handmade crafts. The market will run from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., every Thursday. There will be ample parking and easy access for the handicapped.

No sales will be made before 2 p.m.
