Sodus students
collect cans

For weeks, Mrs. Hooper's second grade class of Sodus Primary School has been working on a bottle and can drive. The class is raising money for their summer field trip to Massachusetts.

There was a recent drop off spot in the Dynalec parking lot and the children also went door to door collecting in the villages of Newark and Sodus Point.

A drawing of donated items will be held at the Paton's Super Duper on Main Street, Sodus on May 30 at 2 p.m.
